Position Overview

About the Role:
As an Early Childhood Associate Educator, you will play a vital role in implementing a comprehensive infant and toddler program tailored to the unique educational, intellectual, physical, social, and emotional needs of the children in our care. Your responsibilities will include supporting the management of the classroom environment and assisting in the preparation and maintenance of documentation that adheres to performance standards and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate in the implementation of preschool or infant/toddler programs based on input from parents and the specific needs of children.
- Facilitate daily activities that promote learning across all developmental areas for a class of 16 children, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring safety and support for all children.
- Participate in meal preparation and share meals with children in a family-style setting.
- Administer first aid as necessary and complete accident reports.
- Uphold regular attendance in accordance with established schedules and organizational policies.
- Engage in professional development through training programs and workshops focused on early childhood education.

Qualifications:
- Must hold ECT qualifications, either as a level 2 in PDIS or through completion of ECE 101 and ECE 103.
- CPR Certification and current PPD-TB and physical examination required.
- Successful completion of background checks is mandatory.
- A self-motivated individual with strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse groups.

Compensation:
Hourly rate ranges from $18.50 to $20.00.
