Position Overview

About the Role:
As an Early Childhood Associate Educator, you will play a vital role in facilitating a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants and toddlers. Your responsibilities will include supporting the delivery of a comprehensive educational program tailored to meet the diverse needs of children, fostering their intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:
In alignment with established performance standards and organizational guidelines, you will:

  • Assist in implementing an engaging preschool or infant/toddler curriculum based on parental feedback and the unique developmental needs of each child.
  • Support daily activities that promote learning across all developmental domains for a classroom of 16 children, including those with special needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, ensuring safety and accessibility of materials and equipment.
  • Participate in meal preparation and share meals with children in a family-style setting.
  • Administer first aid when necessary and complete required documentation for any incidents.
  • Adhere to a consistent attendance schedule as per organizational policies.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching methodologies and early childhood education practices.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned to uphold the quality of educational services provided.

Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates who possess:

  • Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualifications, either through Level 2 in PDIS or completion of ECE 101 and ECE 103.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Recent PPD-TB screening and physical examination.
  • Successful completion of background checks, including Colorado Bureau of Investigation and Federal Bureau of Investigation.
  • Passage of the National Sex Offender Registry Check.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to early childhood education.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.
