Your Role:

As a Lead Early Childhood Educator, you are a committed and enthusiastic professional who takes pleasure in engaging with young learners in a nurturing and high-quality educational setting where each child is recognized as a unique individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Leadership: Establish and uphold positive behavioral procedures while organizing and leading age-appropriate activities that foster physical, emotional, mental, and social growth.
  • Collaborative Planning: Work alongside the Lead Teacher to create, implement, and assess tailored lesson plans and teaching strategies, adapting to meet the diverse needs of students through various educational methods.
  • Student Engagement: Assist with classroom meals and snacks, support diapering and potty training tasks as necessary, and promote self-esteem among students.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Monitor and evaluate students' academic and social development, maintaining accurate records and preparing progress reports.
  • Family Involvement: Conduct family conferences and home visits to strengthen partnerships with families.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare and manage internal and external reports in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

Experience: A minimum of 2 years working with children aged 0-8 years.

Education: ECT qualified with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a CDA certificate. A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, or a Teaching License is preferred.

Certifications: CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and Universal Precautions Certification are required.

Additional Requirements:

  • Maintain all necessary credentials and certifications.
  • Participate in professional development for credential maintenance.
  • Pass background checks as mandated.
  • Adhere to the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct.

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and education.
