Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Education Assistant. This role will provide support to our preschool and elementary education programs, assisting with the delivery of instruction, care, and discipline to our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of instructional materials and implement the District's ECE program at the local school level.
  • Provide instruction to students in an Early Childhood Education classroom, under the direction of the ECE classroom teacher.
  • Perform classroom duties, including preparing instructional materials, assisting with student instruction, care, and discipline, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Implement the District's ECE program rules, regulations, and State of Colorado licensing requirements for Child Care Centers.
  • Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to child care and education.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.
  • Must successfully complete ECE 101 within a designated period of time, as determined by the school district.
  • Ability to work with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
