About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Clinical Support: Work under the direction of providers and RNs to assess patients' needs, provide input into the plan of care, and implement prescribed interventions.
  • Coordinate Patient Care: Coordinate patient care as directed by providers, RNs, and policies, including referrals, transition visits, medications, procedures, and follow-up.
  • Document Patient Information: Accurately document patient assessment and care in the medical record in a timely manner.
  • Ensure Patient Safety: Provide a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to OSHA standards and ensuring patient confidentiality (HIPAA) at all times.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Organize exam and treatment rooms, stock and clean rooms, and sterilize instruments.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or GED.
  • Licensure: Current and unrestricted State Vocational/Practical Nursing license.
  • Certification: Current BLS certification and IV certification if required by the clinic.
  • Skills: Proven knowledge of medical terminology and medical office procedures, proficient computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records, and demonstrated effective listening and communication skills.
