Position Summary and Qualifications

As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator in Telemetry, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality, patient-centered care and overseeing all functions within the unit/department.


In collaboration with other leadership team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and exemplifies a commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values.


Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

- Demonstrate our core values in interactions with co-workers, patients, family members, and the community to foster an engaged work environment and exceptional patient care.

- Assist with staff scheduling and manage all practical aspects of staff labor in alignment with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.

- Lead in a manner that inspires commitment to the organization's vision, mission, and values while positively representing the organization within the community.


Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or baccalaureate degree registered nurse program.

- Possession of a Registered Nurse License to practice as a professional RN in the state of Texas or an Active Multi-State RN Compact License.

- If holding a Compact License, obtaining a Texas RN License within 90 days of hire is required.

- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
- Minimum of one year of healthcare experience.
- Preferred: 2 years of Medical Surgical Telemetry or Medical Surgical/Ortho acute care hospital nursing experience.
- Preferred: BSN.
