Colby College is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Coach to join our Men's and Women's Swimming team. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will play a vital role in the development and success of our student-athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of team management, including practice planning, competition preparation, and game-day execution.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and performance of our student-athletes.
  • Recruit and retain talented student-athletes, while maintaining a strong focus on academic support and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Head Coach and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective team environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of team policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall success of the Athletics Department.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level, preferably in swimming.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for team events.
