Executive Pastry Chef

Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking ingredients, finishing cold foods, conducting product inventories, and maintaining quality standards in our kitchen.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook ingredients for pastry dishes, following recipes and maintaining quality standards.
- Finish cold foods, such as desserts and pastries, to ensure presentation and quality.
- Conduct product inventories to ensure accurate stock levels and maintain quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment, such as mixers and ovens, in accordance with manufacturer instructions and health regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, read and follow recipes, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- 1-3 years of culinary experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, luxury hotel/restaurant environment.
- Extensive knowledge of sanitation and culinary practices, as well as accurate knife skills.
- Ability to work in an organized fashion and within a team environment.
- Capacity to work well under pressure, think logically, and resolve problems using good judgment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid health card.
