Job Summary
The Pâtissier is responsible for preparing all recipes per specification, storing and displaying finished products. This role requires a working knowledge of pastry techniques, equipment, and preparation of various pastries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare all recipes per specification
- Store and display finished products
- Ensure work area is clean, organized, and stocked
- Follow safety procedures and regulations
- Ensure food quality and presentation meet standards
- Perform additional duties as requested
Requirements:
- 3 years previous pastry experience or equivalent technical school training
- Effective communication in English, both verbal and written
- Neat and professional appearance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment with multiple tasks to handle under time constraint
- Shifts may vary based on business needs
- Ability to handle intoxicated guests in a professional manner
