Job Overview:

As a Customer Service Representative in the healthcare sector, you will play a crucial role in managing a high volume of orders through various communication channels, including inbound and outbound calls, as well as face-to-face interactions. Your responsibilities will encompass following established communication protocols, addressing diverse inquiries, and serving as a vital link between our organization and its clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients, referral sources, and administrative departments with inquiries.
  • Engage with insurance providers and manage prior authorization requests.
  • Input patient data into the customer information management system.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing health-related issues and concerns.
  • Make independent decisions during off-hours to maintain a steady supply of products to clients.
  • Enhance understanding of customer needs and trends to boost satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Acquire knowledge of various insurance qualifications to facilitate accurate order processing.

Job Requirements:

We seek a Customer Service Representative who possesses outstanding customer service and problem-solving abilities, along with the capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team. Essential skills include effective time management and organizational capabilities to navigate multiple demands in a dynamic environment. Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, and active listening are critical, as is the ability to prioritize and respond to issues appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; some college education is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Customer Service.
  • Ability to project a positive and professional demeanor to both customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Capable of seeing issues through to resolution.
  • Experience: 2+ years in a related field.
