Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Group Housing Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of administrative tasks and providing exceptional support to our guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to various hotel departments, including Guest Services, Engineering, and Food & Beverage.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors, ensuring timely and effective communication.
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales Office and clients throughout the event process, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments, supporting team goals and objectives.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related administrative role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
