Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Group Housing Coordinator to join our team at Marriott International Inc. As a Group Housing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the hotel's operations and ensuring the smooth execution of events and guest services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the hotel's operations team, including preparing documents, managing databases, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales office and clients to ensure seamless event execution, from pre-event planning to post-event follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and departments to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as hotel operations, administrative support, or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
