Position Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving the growth of our US & Canada Business Unit, ensuring that all projects adhere to established governance and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Controls

  • Demonstrate expertise in project cost estimation in accordance with AACE standards, with a solid grasp of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
  • Facilitate the creation of detailed cost estimates across various Front-End Loading (FEL) stages.
  • Possess knowledge in project scheduling, with proficiency in scheduling software being advantageous.
  • Implement project controls to monitor scope changes, manage documentation, and prepare regular reports.
  • Manage contracting processes and strategies effectively.
  • Utilize risk modeling techniques, including Monte Carlo simulations, to conduct quantitative risk assessments.

Technical Expertise

  • In-depth knowledge of Front-End Loading (FEL) processes.
  • Familiarity with technologies relevant to both greenfield and brownfield terminal development.
  • Comprehensive understanding of industry standards and practices.
  • Ability to support the development of conceptual designs and functional requirements in collaboration with project teams.
  • Proficient in various Project Management Methodologies.

Project Management Experience

  • Strong background in construction safety and management.
  • Extensive experience in project controls, focusing on scope, budget, timeline, and risk management.
  • 10-15 years of experience in engineering projects, particularly in front-end design.
  • Knowledge of Oil & Gas terminal operations and various contracting strategies.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-discipline engineering projects.
  • Familiarity with the complete stage gate process cycle.

Project Implementation

  • Assist in the development of detailed engineering designs, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and company methodologies.
  • Guarantee compliance with technical and operational standards.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical) preferred, along with relevant project experience.

Skills

  • Fluency in English, with proficiency in Spanish being a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and GSheets.
  • Experience with project management software, especially P6, is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cost estimating and CAD software.
