KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. KBR is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the digitalization program on large EPC projects, transforming the EPC work process to a data-centric execution model and championing the delivery of a digital twin of the facility.

With general autonomy, this Senior Project Manager can also manage large EPC projects having a TIC value, typically, of up to $500 million. Alternatively, may have responsibility for management of two or more smaller projects.

Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Serves as prime point of contact between the client and company.
  • Assures the project execution is in accordance with policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company.
  • Assures safe project execution to the client's satisfaction, consistent with cost, schedule and contractual requirements while maintaining bottom line responsibility for financial success.
  • Manages and coordinates all the digital activities during all project phases of the program, via direct supervision or through the digital team.
  • Works closely with the corporate group/s to support the delivery of the program and project phases.
  • Works directly with client to define the digital scope, strategy and implementation plan.
  • Produces a Program/Project scope of work which will be used to identify changes between the original and final contractual agreement.
  • They will also produce Return on investment (ROI) cases for digital SOWs to identify the benefits of using a digital approach, in accordance with client expectations.
  • Liaise with corporate groups to evaluate tools and technology available in the market and, working with the Client/Program and corporate teams, selects the right tools to deliver the Program and Project.
  • Keeps the client and company advised of project status.
  • Leads the digital team and is responsible for the successful completion of the project.
  • In the proposal phase, works closely with Sales to evaluate and interpret requirements. May serve as a proposal manager.
  • Negotiates changes with the client.
  • Plans the project execution and revises the plan as necessary and assures adherence to the plan.
  • Abides by our business ethics.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • The ideal candidate for this role will have skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Information Management or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in related projects with an average of 15+ years which includes several years of which includes several years experience at the project manager level and with a track record of developing and successfully implementing a compelling digital strategy in a large and complex project environment.
  • They should be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of project execution and how digital approaches can provide a beneficial outcome to the project team and the client organization, both for the present (Pre-FEED and FEED project phases) and in the future (EPC phase and most importantly, the operational phase).
  • They should have excellent communication skills (oral and written) and be capable of interfacing with and influencing senior management within both KBR and Client organizations.
  • Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the KBR way of working.
