The Senior Pipeline Project Manager is tasked with overseeing projects of varying scales, ensuring the development of optimal solutions that enhance profitability throughout the project lifecycle.

Success in this role hinges on expertise in project lifecycle (PLC) planning, stage-gate methodologies, and facility construction/operations within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive project planning and execution.
  • Management of project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Leadership of cross-functional, remote project teams.
  • Identification and management of program and project risks.
  • Assistance in drafting contract documents for required goods and services.
  • Coordination of project activities in line with established schedules.
  • Analysis of project performance against established baselines.
  • Implementation of effective project controls to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Development and execution of project plans, including risk mitigation strategies, schedules, cost estimates, contracting approaches, engineering design, quality assurance, and project closure.
  • Regular communication with project teams and stakeholders regarding project status and scope changes.
  • Collaboration with internal and external technical resources to direct project activities.
  • Engagement with operations, stakeholders, and contractors to strategize project execution.
  • Creation of facility solutions that maximize cost-saving opportunities while ensuring safety.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of ten years of experience in oil and gas engineering/project management.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, along with PMP and/or PE certifications.
