Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telephone Triage Medical Assistant to join our team at Revere Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and support to our patients and medical staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming patient calls, triaging and prioritizing calls to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  • Verify patient information, including demographics and medical history, to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Document all patient interactions in our electronic health record (EHR) system, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, providing empathy and support to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and providers to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in medical assisting and patient care.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health record systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
