Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine team at Revere Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate quality patient care under the supervision of the provider.
  • Verify patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit.
  • Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests.
  • Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
  • Help with office procedures, injections, etc., as requested.
  • Review messages with physicians and respond as directed in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Communicate test and lab results and transmit other information from provider to patient.
  • Answer questions as appropriate.
  • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Keep exam rooms clean and patient ready.
  • Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions.
  • Answer phones and schedule appointments.
  • Serve and protect the medical practice by adhering to clinic and professional standards, policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Maintain CPR certification.
Requirements

Previous Medical Assisting experience preferred. Fluency in Spanish language required. Ability to work full-time shifts, including Tuesday 6:30 am-7:30 pm, Thursday 6:30 am-7:30 pm, and Friday 6:30 am-5:30 pm.
