Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Patient Valuables and Personal Belongings: Ensuring that all patient inquiries are addressed promptly.
- Documentation of Patient Belongings: Concise documentation of all patient belongings and valuables delivered to us for safekeeping, return of all items to the patient or their APR.
- Inventory Management: Organization of items with current inventory on file for reference.
- Timely Return of Patient Belongings: Ensuring the timely return of all patient belongings and valuables upon discharge from our facility.
- Collaboration with Nursing Leadership: Collaborate with and support our Nursing Leadership and staff in ensuring adherence to internal policies and best practices.
Customer Service:
- Greeting and Welcoming Patients: Greet, smile and make the patient/family and visitor feel welcome, listen to customer's request and offer assistance.
- Phone Support: Answering phones and questions proficiently, triaging calls which cannot be answered and require further assistance.
Administrative Tasks:
- Mailing Patient Valuables: Mailing patient valuables and belongings if requested, utilizing the appropriate delivery services.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience: Expertise in complaint resolution, customer service and healthcare experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
