Structural Heart Program Coordinator

As a Structural Heart Program Coordinator at Cooper University Health Care, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal functioning of our Structural Heart Program. This includes direct patient contact, coordination of care, and organizing minutes for the Structural Heart Team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Coordinate scheduling and performance improvement operations to maintain program consistency and balance.
- Oversee the performance and proficiency of employees assigned under this role, guaranteeing exceptional patient care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maximize efficiency and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in Cardiovascular or CT Surgery in a clinical setting, research experience, or structural heart experience is required.
Education and CertificationsA High School Graduate or Equivalent is required. Medical or Research Certification is preferred.
Skills and QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess good interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple internal departments, MDs, staff, and patients. A working understanding of TAVR, LAAO, Mitra Clip, and Tricuspid evaluation processes and procedures, including key inclusion and exclusion criteria, risk assessment, and protocol details, is essential.
