Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Plant Operations Intern to join our Production and Supply team at Syngenta. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of safety, quality, and excellence in plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Plant Operations: Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Collaborate with Site Management: Work closely with the Site Management Team to plan, execute, and manage projects, including process execution, HSE, and Quality Management Systems updates.
  • Participate in Team Meetings: Attend daily tier meetings, HSE Oversight Committee, Management Review, KPI meetings, and other team meetings as required.
  • Assist with Customer Complaints: Help resolve customer complaints, non-conformities, safety observations, and continuous improvement ideas.
  • Perform Other Duties: Assist with other duties as required to meet plant needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Business Administration, Occupational Health, or a closely related field of study.
  • Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience: Lean or Six Sigma experience is preferred.
