- Count products being stacked in layers in boxes, stack products on conveyor lines while monitoring product flow and quality, and remove products from conveyor lines and stack in assembled boxes.
- Monitor conveyor lines from the freezer down to the slide while performing quality checks on products and through metal detectors for metal detection.
- Push boxes loaded with products through taping machines.
- Understand and adhere to safety, food safety (SQF), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Basic knowledge of plant-specific cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, chemical solution strengths, chemical handling principles, and proper cleaning and sanitizing techniques.
- Ability to rotate to all positions of Production Specialist on different lines.
- Must follow plant work standards, high-quality and productivity standards per plant requirements.
- Must maintain regular attendance per company policy.
- Meet internal and external customer expectations through teamwork, respect, and willingness to help and support others.
- Communicate food safety concerns to supervisors/management.
- Accept accountability and responsibility for one's work.
- Confront issues when they arise.
