Job Summary

As a Sales Account Specialist at thyssenkrupp, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to material and order status, ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and professional service to customers via phone, email, and in-person meetings, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Issue Resolution: Coordinate with internal teams, including contract administration, quality, purchasing, finance, and plant operations, to resolve customer issues and concerns.
  • Account Management: Service assigned customer accounts with a high level of customer satisfaction, evaluating performance based on customer feedback, email correspondence, and surveys.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Run, modify, and analyze reports to meet account management needs, including batch reports, sales analysis, lifecycle, aging reports, and rock reports.
  • Action Items: Complete action items from customer meetings and emails, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues.
  • Administrative Tasks: Administer the Sales tab on Elevation forms, PTA (premium freight transportation), and complete various requested Boeing tracking activities.
  • Customer Status Reports: Prepare and submit customer status reports, highlighting any issues requiring attention, as deemed necessary by the Regional Account Manager.
  • Order Entry and Support: Assist with order entry, purchase order changes, plant movements, AOG (aircraft on ground) or quote preparation as needed or assigned.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of previous customer service experience.
  • Skills: Solid computer skills, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and customer service skills, and ability to resolve problems successfully.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-starting, dependable, accepts ownership, drives own goals/performance, and flexible in scheduling with availability for overtime as needed.
Preferred Requirements:
  • Aerospace Industry Experience: Experience in the aerospace industry, especially in customer service, sales, or purchasing roles.
