Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales team by providing key information for client proposals. You will also have the opportunity to work closely with new and existing Workplace Solution customers, helping to provide clarity, support, and guidance that Mutual of Omaha is known for.

What We Offer

Estimated Hourly Wage:
Sales Specialist: $27.00 - $31.75, plus annual bonus opportunity.
Senior Sales Specialist: $34.50 - $37.00, plus annual bonus opportunity.

Benefits and Perks

401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.

Requirements
  1. Strategic Support: Be the driving force behind our Sales team's success. Proactively manage quote activities, develop relationships with broker partners, and contribute to achieving ambitious sales goals.
  2. Proposal Excellence: Take charge of the proposal process. Receive and manage RFPs, prepare compelling proposals, and ensure timely responses.
  3. Underwriting Expertise: Dive into life and long-term disability cases. From underwriting to quoting premium rates, you'll be a pivotal part of the sales process, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness.
  4. Smooth Implementation: Your role doesn't end with the sale. Coordinate the installation process, partnering with various stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions.
  5. Industry Insight: Stay ahead of the curve. Keep abreast of industry trends, product knowledge, and ensure compliance with State Insurance Department regulations.
