IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team at Confluent Inc. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our employees worldwide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide full-service internal IT support to Confluent employees
- Advanced troubleshooting of hardware and applications
- Communication with users and staff to understand, identify, document, and resolve problems
- Resolve problems in a timely manner or escalate on behalf of users to IT leads or managers
- Be well-organized and highly efficient when managing work
- Be a documentation champion, crafting and refining processes as the organization scales
- Help, teach, and mentor junior colleagues
- Be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
- 2+ years of providing hands-on and remote IT support
- Experience with SaaS applications, including Google Workspace, JIRA, Okta, Zoom, Office 365, and Slack
- Knowledge of network troubleshooting and MDM platforms, such as Jamf Pro and Intune
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

This position has an hourly estimated pay of $25-40 / hour. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
