This premier law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with Litigation Defense experience to join their team. The position will focus on Insurance Defense, Products Liability, Premises Liability, and Construction Litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cases from inception to resolution.
  • Advise clients on defense strategies, legal rights, and obligations.
  • Stay updated on and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations.
  • Develop strategies and arguments for case presentations.
  • Gather evidence through witness interviews, depositions, and discovery.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents including briefs and opinions.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations.
  • Handle court appearances and depositions.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide status reports.
Requirements:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • 5+ years of Litigation experience.
  • Trial experience preferred.
  • MUST have license to practice in Kentucky and in good standing.
  • Effective communication, research, negotiation, and reasoning skills.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
