Job Overview

The Administrative Associate plays a critical role in supporting the Anti-Trafficking Initiative (ATI) in accomplishing its goals and service provision. This position is responsible for providing programmatic support, ensuring compliance, and collecting and analyzing data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support services to the ATI team, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Compliance and Data Management: Ensure ATI compliance with Legal Center data/case file retention policy, manage ATI's legal deadlines, and oversee ATI's client databases.
  • Client Services: Manage ATI's referral and waitlist system, including interfacing with referrers, clients, and potential clients.
  • Grant Management: Assist with grant request preparation, review, and compliance, and coordinate with the Data Team to manage and provide analysis on data and statistical reports.
  • Training and Development: Maintain and update database of ATI training materials, manuals, and pro bono portal samples, and collaborate with pro bono partners to refer matters and track and record status of cases.
  • Special Events and Meetings: Coordinate and monitor programmatic requirements of government grants, assist in drafting of grant reports, and provide coordination and logistic support for ATI special events and meetings.
  • Team Support: Provide task supervision to interns, fellows, and volunteers, and perform any other administrative ATI-related duties or special projects as assigned by the ATI Director.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Language: Bilingual English and relevant community language (Spanish, Mandarin strongly preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook, and experience in data tracking and reporting strongly preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent writing, problem-solving skills, organizational, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills, ability to work independently, prioritize and work on multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Cultural Competence: Experience working in a culturally diverse environment and commitment to serving and advancing the rights of survivors of gender violence.
