Location Overview
We are currently seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative to enhance our Physiatry team. This role primarily involves supporting our outpatient center, which specializes in non-surgical treatments for musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Role Responsibilities
The Patient Services Representative is essential to the efficient operation of our physician practices. Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming patients and managing the check-in process, ensuring a smooth experience.
  • Addressing patient inquiries and assisting with necessary paperwork.
  • Handling co-payments and facilitating the check-out process, including scheduling follow-up appointments.
  • Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
  • Processing referrals and diagnostic orders, as well as monitoring patient flow.
  • Providing administrative support to clinical staff and leadership.

Work Schedule
The ideal working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care. Ideal applicants will possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in clerical, office, or customer service roles, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.
  • Strong computer skills are preferred.
