Work Environment:
· Medical facilities associated with a prominent healthcare center. Staff may be reassigned within a designated commuting area with prior notice.
Qualifications and Requirements:
· Education: High school diploma or GED required.
· Training: Must have completed an accredited medical assistant training program or equivalent military training.
· Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a medical assistant role within the last three years.
· Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
· Citizenship: Applicants must be U.S. citizens.
· Language Proficiency: Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
· Physical Requirements: Must be capable of standing or sitting for extended periods and performing necessary tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
· Maintain productivity levels comparable to peers.
· Engage in performance improvement initiatives and peer reviews.
· Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures.
· Respond effectively in emergency situations, following established protocols.
· Be aware of legal considerations in patient care.
· Participate in training and educational opportunities for professional development.
· Document patient care accurately and timely.
· Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.
Work Schedule:
Standard hours are Monday through Friday, with specific operational hours.
Additional Skills:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. Strong teamwork and time management skills are essential.
