We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Technology, Analytics and Research Expert to join our team at Arup. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking numerical analyses using first-principles methods to solve our clients' most complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and report linear and non-linear, static and dynamic analysis in either fluid dynamics or structures, including wind and climate modeling, water flows, seismic and geotech modeling, or vibration analyses.
- Collaborate with other structural engineers, civil engineers, mechanical engineers, and risk consultants on innovative buildings and infrastructure projects.
- Work on defined tasks under the close supervision of a senior engineer.
- Analysis, design, and communication of results to clients both internal and external to Arup.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural engineering, or similar related field.
- Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, as appropriate.
- Understanding of computer programming and statistics.
- Cover letter included in application submission.
- Experience with FEA and/or CFD software.
- Experience in web or app development.
- Coursework in data science.
