Job Summary

The University of California, Riverside seeks a skilled Contracts and Grants Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for performing pre and post-award research administration duties, including developing research proposals, managing awards, and processing transactions related to contract and grant management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage research proposals, including multi-year budgets and financial analysis
  • Coordinate the submission of proposals to multiple agencies, ensuring compliance with institutional and research sponsor policies
  • Process transactions related to contract and grant management, including approvals and signatures
  • Assist faculty in planning for the effective use of research funds and ensuring compliance with agency-specific terms and conditions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain contract and grant records and ensure compliance with institutional policies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or finance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in research administration or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review and analyze financial information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and external agencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
