Position Overview:
As a Pharmaceutical Medicaid Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of our organization by leveraging your expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and Medicaid regulations.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of general business experience or 2 years of specific experience within a pharmaceutical company.
  • A Bachelor’s or Associate degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software applications (e.g., CARS/IS Classic, Revitas Flex, Model N, or similar).
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage repetitive tasks effectively using computer systems.
  • Fundamental understanding of pharmaceutical product contract agreements.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Capable of investigating and analyzing data to resolve business inquiries by utilizing various data sources and business rules.
  • Knowledgeable about pharmaceutical product contract agreements and the Medicaid regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • This is a hybrid position; candidates should be local and able to commute to the office at least 2 days every 6 weeks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with state representatives and invoice intermediaries while addressing business challenges related to invoicing and data discrepancies.
  • Ensure service standards are upheld in data processing and proactively inform management of any issues.
  • Keep status reports updated and maintain numerical data in spreadsheets with precision and timeliness.
  • Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and SOX control documents relevant to departmental processes, updating documentation as necessary.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in business processes and outcomes.
