Job Summary

The Access and Reimbursement Manager will serve as a subject-matter expert on reimbursement, access, and coverage issues affecting our client's products. This role is responsible for providing education to healthcare professionals and internal teams on reimbursement and access matters, analyzing issues, and coordinating with hubs and other stakeholders to ensure patient access to our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze reimbursement and access issues to identify solutions and implement changes
  • Provide education and support to healthcare professionals and internal teams on reimbursement and access matters
  • Collaborate with hubs and other stakeholders to ensure patient access to our products
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, payers, and patient advocacy groups
  • Stay up-to-date on reimbursement and access policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies and plans to improve patient access to our products
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Minimum three years' experience in public or private third-party reimbursement arena or pharmaceutical industry in managed care, patient services, or clinical support
  • Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension experience preferred; Cardiology, Pulmonology, and/or orphan drug experience required
  • Proven experience with hubs, in-depth knowledge of issues related to billing, coding, appeals across provider types
  • Experience with commercial payers, Medicare plans, and state Medicaid in geographic region
  • Exhibit competent understanding of hub and patient support activities
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
  • Local and national travel required for this position
  • Ability to operate as a team player in collaborating with multiple sales representatives, sales leadership, and internal colleagues to reach common goals
  • Ability to travel and possess a valid driver's license to drive to assigned healthcare accounts, unless otherwise specified
  • Must live within territory or within territory boundaries
