Job Summary

The Manufacturing Quality Assurance (MQA) Supervisor position is a critical role within SCA Pharma, responsible for directing a team of QA Specialists in ensuring the quality and integrity of our pharmaceutical products.

This position requires a strong understanding of cGMP regulations and aseptic processing, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills to drive timely and efficient batch record review and product disposition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate MQA activities, ensuring compliance with regulations and site procedures.
  • Assist the MQA team in assessing the impact of observations made during MQA oversight and ensure MQA support and oversight is provided during Media Fill and Shut-down activities.
  • Maintain strong communication networks within the MQA team and across the organization.
  • Perform Quality Assurance final review of validation protocols and reports, quality event investigations, change controls, CAPAs, and SOPs.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and drive compliance to regulations and site procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering, or related discipline.
  • 3 years of supervisory experience required, with 5 years of working experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related industries.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and thorough knowledge of cGMP.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical quality unit and aseptic processing preferred.
