This role is ideal for an experienced marine engineer with a passion for supporting existing coastal initiatives and expanding our presence in the Midwest.

We are considering candidates for the Marine Infrastructure Engineer position who meet the following essential qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with formal or practical coastal training.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in executing design calculations for waterfront engineering projects, including seawall design, beach nourishment, coastal structures, environmental restoration, drainage and flood control, and coastal impact assessments.

Professional registration as a PE is required. Strong technical engineering skills are essential. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

Candidates with an interest in business development and project management processes, including marketing initiatives, conference involvement, client engagement, and proposal preparation, are encouraged to apply.

Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to interact effectively with clients and team members are necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with coastal experts across GRAEF offices in project oversight, including prioritizing tasks, developing objectives, and managing project finances while serving as a technical resource for a multidisciplinary team.
