Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legislative Correspondence Specialist to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our government relations team, you will play a critical role in developing and refining draft legislation for submission to Congress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legislative Drafting: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine draft legislation for submission to Congress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate meetings and communications with congressional staffers to gather feedback and support for legislative initiatives.
  • Report Preparation: Manage the drafting and preparation of congressional reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Legislative Monitoring: Monitor legislative developments and provide updates to internal stakeholders on relevant congressional activities.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis to support legislative initiatives and respond to inquiries from congressional offices.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with key congressional contacts to promote organizational priorities and objectives.
  • Support for Congressional Hearings: Assist in the preparation of briefing materials and presentations for congressional hearings and meetings.
