Job Title: Program Manager - Westchester County
Job Summary:
Westhab, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Manager to oversee the development and implementation of employment services in Westchester County. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of employment specialists, job developers, and workshop facilitators to provide job readiness training and placement services to program participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of employment specialists, job developers, and workshop facilitators to provide job readiness training and placement services to program participants.
- Develop and implement employment services programs to meet the needs of program participants.
- Collaborate with community partners and employers to establish and maintain relationships and promote job opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and agency expectations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure effective delivery of employment services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employers and community service providers to promote job opportunities and services.
- Initiate and maintain ongoing contacts with business and industry representatives to promote programs and services.
- Lead the team to research and identify job opportunities and resources for program participants.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve job placement rates and participant outcomes.
- Monitor and report on program data and outcomes to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and agency expectations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least five years of experience in management, sales, marketing, job development, social/human services, and/or employment and training programs working with disadvantaged adults. The candidate must have supervisory experience and excellent computer skills, including experience with database management and reporting.
The candidate must be able to effectively market and represent Westhab's programs, clients, and services to employers. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively in writing and orally, make presentations, facilitate job readiness workshops, and establish relationships with business representatives. The candidate must also be able to utilize time management techniques to organize and prioritize work to meet contracted deadlines and timelines.
