Position Summary:

We are in search of motivated and skilled Quality Engineers to become integral members of the raw material quality and senior management team at one of the company's vital manufacturing facilities. This role presents a distinctive opportunity to contribute to a swiftly expanding team that is essential in bolstering global manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct quality assurance processes, including the evaluation and testing of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to guarantee adherence to industry standards and specifications.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to pinpoint, investigate, and rectify quality concerns, while implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to avert future occurrences.
  • Engage collaboratively with internal teams, including process engineers, operators, and suppliers, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Employ statistical process control (SPC) methodologies, Six Sigma principles, and control charts to assess quality data, identify patterns, and drive enhancements in processes.
  • Assist product management and process engineering teams in establishing and executing quality benchmarks for new products and processes.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and quality management system (QMS) protocols, such as ISO 9001, through routine audits, documentation, and reporting.
  • Deliver training and support to plant personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices to cultivate a quality-centric work environment.
  • Actively engage in cross-departmental meetings to synchronize quality objectives with plant operations and business aspirations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline is preferred; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma) are advantageous.
  • 3-10 years of experience in quality engineering within the chemical, semiconductor, or a similar manufacturing field.
  • Comprehensive understanding of statistical process control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Experience in regulated sectors, particularly those complying with ISO standards and FDA regulations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in data analysis tools, including Excel.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
