Executive Culinary Director

Job Summary:
Crew Life at Sea is seeking an experienced Head Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our galley crew and ensuring the highest quality of cuisine for our passengers and crew.
Responsibilities:
• Must have completed an apprenticeship as a Chef in a hotel and/or restaurant industry, or equivalent experience.
• Must have at least ten (10) years of cuisine background and four (4) years in the cruise ship industry.
• Must be skilled in every part of international cooking and have a good knowledge of all ingredients used in modern cuisine.
• Must be up-to-date with culinary trends and optimized kitchen processes.
• Must have a good sense of diplomatic leadership of a multi-national galley crew.
• Must be familiar with food-cost calculations, quality control, and production control of passenger and crew menus.
• Must have Galley Sanitation experience and knowledge of HACCP.
• Must have English and/or German language skills.
• Must be reliable and able to work unsupervised.
• Must be able to work flexible time schedules and to the Company's standards.
