The Strategic Accounts Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the Electric Power (Data Center) space vision for Holt CAT, focusing on enhancing project management and prime product sales performance. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing complex project requirements, while also providing market feedback to company leadership regarding competitive offerings and prospect needs. Additionally, the Strategic Accounts Business Development Manager is responsible for generating product development ideas and developing and maintaining the health of strategic accounts for Holt CAT.
Key Responsibilities- Model and Promote Values-Based Leadership: Ensure alignment with Holt CAT's Vision, Values, and Mission by consistently using HOLT's Values-Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes.
- Develop and Implement Sales Plans: Collaborate with engineering and non-engineering departments to create sales plans that accommodate corporate goals and drive sales to increase revenue and profitability while maintaining minimal operational expenses.
- Project Management and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between engineering and non-engineging departments to ensure that all targets and requirements are met, and oversee program managers to keep project stakeholders informed of key issues that may impact project completion, budget, or other results.
- Support Project Planning: Participate in project planning activity during pre-bid, proposal, negotiation, and contract phases, and perform project management duties a portion of the time alongside.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable safety policies and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum of six years of relevant professional experience, including a combination of Performance Management, Engineering Project Management, Strategic Business Planning, and/or related field.
- People Management Experience: Minimum of three years of people management experience preferred.
Up to 30% travel, as required.
