Senior Commercial Development Manager

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Commercial Development Manager to lead and coordinate all aspects of resource acquisitions within the business initiatives group. This includes owning financial results, running stakeholder meetings, and creating management presentations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, economics, or business administration, with 5 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years of asset development and acquisition experience.

  • Lead strategy development and implementation plans for presentation to senior management for recommended resource acquisitions.
  • Leads implementation of project plans across multi-disciplinary project teams; includes creating and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and action items.
  • Conducts or manages business, operational, financial, and policy level analyses needed to evaluate potential projects while considering PSE's current position and how best to maximize the value of current energy resource assets.
  • Leads external representative(s) on assigned projects, including identifying, negotiating, and managing partner relationships and commercial contracts.
  • Collaborates with long-term resource and planning groups inside PSE to review asset acquisitions.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, as well as excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills. A Master's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field is desirable. The pay range for this position is $88,000 - $146,500, and this position is eligible for annual goals-based incentive bonuses.
