POSITION OVERVIEW


The Dining Service Associate plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service by taking food and beverage orders, serving items, preparing detailed checks, and occasionally processing payments.

This position may also involve additional responsibilities such as guiding guests to their tables, serving patrons at counters, arranging and clearing tables, or managing cash register operations.

Additionally, the Associate is responsible for verifying the age of customers to ensure compliance with alcohol purchasing regulations.

Commitment to providing outstanding service in a friendly and efficient manner is essential.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adhere to all standards and regulations set forth by HCW Management Consultants LLC to promote safe and effective operations.
  • Fulfill certification requirements relevant to the role, including Alcohol Awareness and Food Safety certifications.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the restaurant's layout and the responsibilities associated with each position.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of menu offerings and daily specials.
  • Attend to guests' food and beverage needs with warmth, professionalism, and courtesy.
  • Clear, clean, and reset tables as necessary.
  • Gain proficiency in operating the Point of Sale (P.O.S.) system.
  • Execute cashiering duties, including closing checks and completing end-of-shift documentation.
  • Carry out opening and closing tasks, as well as side work duties according to assigned station rotations.
  • Ensure that tables and service areas are consistently stocked, organized, and clean.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by supervisors or management.
QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred, along with experience in hospitality or a related field.
  • Must possess Alcohol Awareness Certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Food Handlers certification is required, adhering to state mandates.
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas effectively.
  • Capacity to assess and choose among various options quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure and fast-paced environments.
