The Human Resources Administrative Coordinator plays a vital role in managing various administrative functions related to human resources, while also contributing to special projects as necessary.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute updates to the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) for changes in employee status, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain electronic records and ensure that all supporting documentation is organized within appropriate employee or HR folders.
- Report necessary changes promptly for bi-weekly payroll processing.
- Facilitate monthly benefits enrollment and ensure timely updates for payroll processing.
- Verify the accuracy of monthly benefit invoices and process them for payment as scheduled.
- Manage internal termination processes in accordance with established protocols.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Monitor daily attendance and update the system to report absences to supervisors.
- Provide assistance to employees regarding general inquiries and escalate HR-related issues to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
- Uphold a positive representation of the company through professional demeanor, attitude, and appearance.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Comply with confidentiality and security policies and procedures.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned.
- Familiarity with human resources best practices, procedures, and principles.
- Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Capacity to handle sensitive HR information with confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Competence in or ability to quickly learn HRIS.
- An Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in a related field; SHRM Certification is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in a human resources-related role is required.
$22.00-$24.00
