Job Summary

The Case Manager for Refugee Services will provide intensive case management to assist and support new arrival refugees during initial placement and resettlement. The position will report to the Sr Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Arrange housing, healthcare, social services, and service provider referrals for newly arriving refugees.
  • Maintain accurate and complete case files by updating case management systems and reporting databases.
  • Provide cross-cultural information and orient refugee families to their new community.
  • Connect clients with supportive community networks and support systems to ensure long-term integration.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings and work with community partners to learn about resources for refugees.
  • Ensure grant specific requirements for case management services are fulfilled.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements
  • High School degree required; Associate's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Experience in case management or social work preferred.
  • Ability to work as a team member and independently, with high level of self-motivation.
  • Excellent communication skills with good written command of English.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including keen listening ability and relationship building.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, and database programs.
