Role Responsibilities
- Conduct nutrition education sessions for research participants.
- Assist in the recruitment and enrollment of study participants.
- Support participant assessments, especially in diet record analysis.
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Physical Requirements: Office work along with the ability to perform clinical assessments.
Work Schedule: This is a full-time exempt position, requiring 40+ hours per week, with core hours from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Some early morning and evening work may be necessary.
Position Level: The role may be classified as either Coordinator or Specialist based on the candidate's experience.
Compensation: Salary will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.
Qualifications
- Education: A bachelor's degree is required; a master's degree in nutrition or public health is preferred.
- Credentials: Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is mandatory.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience as a dietitian is required.
- Additional Qualities: Experience with plant-based diets is essential.
