Role Overview:
As a Treasury Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role at the divisional level, focusing on the cultivation of new Treasury Management opportunities, enhancing existing client relationships, and delivering Treasury Management solutions to both new and current clientele. Your contributions will include assisting in the creation of innovative Treasury Management offerings and the formulation of marketing strategies. A significant aspect of your role will involve establishing robust partnerships with relevant sales teams and Relationship Managers, employing consultative and strategic sales techniques to convert prospects into clients and to further develop the business of current customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of the Treasury Management sales process, including business development, prospect evaluation, needs assessment, and closing sales. Retain and expand the customer portfolio through a structured service review program, regular outreach, and industry training.
  • Develop independent channels to identify potential new Treasury Management clients and manage the pipeline of prospective targets. Conduct outreach independently or in collaboration with appropriate partners to engage customers and prospects within the designated territory, particularly those with complex and/or multinational treasury management needs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive understanding of Treasury Management products, services, industry trends, competitive landscape, and service challenges. Utilize this expertise to craft customer-focused treasury management solutions and provide consultative guidance on the liquidity management cycle. Additionally, responsible for delivering industry and product training to both internal and external stakeholders, including customers and Relationship Managers.
  • Act as a representative of the Bank within local and regional Treasury Management communities and industry associations.
  • This role will serve as a leader and subject matter expert among peers regarding treasury products and market insights, offering support and guidance to the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from an accredited four-year institution and a minimum of five years of direct experience in treasury management sales.
  • Certification as a Treasury Professional or a related professional credential in good standing is preferred.
  • Prior experience in generating new business, particularly with companies generating revenue between $20 million and $200 million, is advantageous.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit services, loan management, treasury management, and other commercial banking products and services.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant regulatory and legal compliance requirements, industry standards, and practices.
Compensation:
The salary range for new hires typically falls between $139,000 and $164,152.00. The specific salary is determined by the job location. Additionally, the position may qualify for annual bonuses/incentives and restricted stock options.
