Job Summary:

Aston Carter is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treasury Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Treasury functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, log, and distribute financial mail on a daily basis
  • Prepare daily cash position reports and organize cash flow support
  • Research and code checks received by the cash management group
  • Perform low-activity bank and liability reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Administer appraisal payment sites (speedpay)
  • Conduct pair-off settlement confirmation with brokers and submit wire requests
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least one year of total work experience in a related accounting support role
  • Prior experience in the mortgage industry and accounting systems is preferred
  • Familiarity with general accounting concepts and banking systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others and work well under the pressure of deadlines
