Fundraising Opportunities

">

The Chief National Development Officer will lead fundraising efforts across the organization, developing and implementing a comprehensive plan to secure commitments from national foundations, corporations, and individuals. This includes identifying potential funders, researching grant opportunities, writing proposals, and drafting reports.

Team Leadership

">

The successful candidate will lead a team of development professionals, guiding them to reach departmental and organizational goals. They will oversee the work of our grant writing firm, develop and monitor the National Development Team's budget and expenses, and ensure that funding records are accurate in Little Green Light (CRM tool).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.">
  • Minimum five years of experience in fundraising, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and special events.">
  • Knowledge of and relationships within the national funding community.">
  • Demonstrated commitment to accountability, measuring outcomes, and a results-oriented culture.">
  • Ability to think strategically and practically to implement a comprehensive multi-year development plan.">

Estimated Salary: $145,000 - $180,000 per year

Based on location in Washington, D.C., Virginia, or Maryland, this salary range reflects the company's generosity and commitment to attracting top talent.
