What You Will Do as a Utility Crew Supervisor:
  • Oversee daily production targets for assigned teams.
  • Provide accurate payroll and revenue reports to the General Foreman or designated personnel.
  • Exhibit proficiency in enforcing company and client policies, procedures, and daily operational requirements.
  • Support and guide Crew Leaders to achieve optimal operational results.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and ANSI standards, as well as all safety and personnel policies.
  • Assist the General Foreman with equipment maintenance and scheduling of preventive care.
  • Support the bidding process for work alongside the General Foreman.
  • Secure necessary permissions for teams to commence work.
  • Engage with local officials to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Address customer or homeowner concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain daily communication with the General Foreman regarding crew activities, equipment issues, safety matters, and other relevant topics.
  • Uphold the Mission and Values of the Company in all conduct.
What You Will Need:
  • A minimum of two years' experience as a Crew Leader or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the public, customers, colleagues, supervisors, and corporate staff.
  • Completion of all Crew Leader qualifications.
  • Professional appearance and grooming.
  • Willingness to travel, including potential overnight stays.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications, including Herbicide Applicators or Operators Certification, ISA certification, and others as required.
  • Awareness that work hours may exceed those of a Crew Leader.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and map reading.
  • Physical capability to walk utility lines, both on and off-road.
  • A valid driver's license, CDL, and/or medical certification as required for the vehicle operated.
  • Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and job duty skills assessments.
