Job Summary
Team Fishel is seeking a highly skilled Sewer Camera Truck Operator to join our team in Rochester, PA. As a key member of our utility construction team, you will be responsible for camera and locating existing sewer facilities, as well as clearing them of utility cross bores.
Key Responsibilities
- Visually and electronically verify the locations of sewer facilities and determine whether they are clear of cross bores.
- Develop and maintain strong communication and professional customer-facing skills, working directly with our primary customer and local municipalities, state, and federal agencies.
- Maintain flawless tool and supply inventory on company vehicles.
- Maintain and troubleshoot all tooling and technology equipment, keeping them in top working order and maintaining exceptional cleanliness conditions.
- Adhere to Team Fishel's stringent safety policies and procedures, including PPE, traffic, and confined space industry standards.
- Record and keep precise, thorough, detailed, neat, and organized information for project and customer purposes.
- Perform all objectives and execute the daily plan as laid out by the Sewer Camera Truck Crew Leader, working well in a two-person crew.
Project Responsibilities
- Maintain customer relationships in a professional manner on a daily basis.
- Follow appropriate procedures to guarantee the reporting of any findings are completed in a timely manner to our customer.
- Create and maintain excellent and professional customer relationships by exceeding expectations, such that the customer is compelled to provide Team Fishel with additional opportunities.
Requirements
- 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- No previous experience is required.
- 1 year of working experience on a CCTV truck or utility locating is a plus.
- Must be able to use basic hand tooling such as hammers, drills, screwdrivers, etc.
- Knowledge of utility construction (specifically natural gas) and/or the water/wastewater industry.
- Must be able to perform various physical activities such as lifting, pulling, kneeling, climbing, etc.
