We are seeking a highly skilled Comprehensive Primary Care Provider to join our team at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated healthcare professional who shares our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a culturally sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive health care services to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, including routine check-ups, disease prevention, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that take into account patients' medical histories, cultural backgrounds, and social determinants of health.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and specialists, to ensure seamless coordination of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
- Current PA-C or ARNP licensure in Washington State.
- Current ACLS and BLS certification, or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Proven experience working in primary care settings, preferably with Indigenous communities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cultural sensitivity issues and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to handle conflict and crisis situations in a professional manner.
- Strong documentation skills, with proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs).
- Work in a fast-paced primary care outpatient clinic environment, interacting extensively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet patient needs.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
